Acceptable Use policy

Policy Statement

Use of the Licensed Software in a way that is contrary to the Acceptable Use Policy is prohibited.

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to the entire Licensed Software worldwide.

Illegal/Criminal Activity

The Licensed Software shall not be used in connection with criminal or civil violations of laws, regulations, or other government requirements of any jurisdiction, including breach of any civil or criminal laws relating to the provision of the Gaming Services in the Territory. Such violations include theft or infringement of Intellectual Property Rights; export control violations; fraud; forgery; pyramid or other prohibited business schemes; theft, misappropriation, or unauthorized transmission or storage of funds, credit card information, personal information, Data or online services.

Security Violations

The Licensed Software shall not be used to violate the security of a network, service, or other system. Examples of security violations include hacking, cracking into, monitoring, or using systems without authorization; scanning ports; conducting denial of service attacks; distributing viruses or other harmful software; smurf attacks or any denial of service attacks; and unauthorized alteration or destruction of web sites or other information.

Threats

The Licensed Software shall not be used to transmit or store material of a threatening nature, including threats of death or physical harm, harassment, libel, and defamation.

Offensive Material

The Licensed Software shall not be used to transmit or store material that is illegal according to relevant national laws. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, examples of material that might be subject to these laws may include:material of an offensive nature, including obscene and pornographic material (particularly pornography involving children); indecent, abusive, libellous, defamatory and hateful materials.The foregoing list is not exhaustive. It is the responsibility of the Licensee and Approved Sub-Licensees to ensure that their use of the internet and the Gaming Services are legal according to the criminal and civil laws of the relevant local law.

Spam

The Licensed Software shall not be used to transmit SPAM emails. Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the Licensee and Approved Sub-Licensees shall not and shall not assist or procure any third party to: send any unsolicited email that could be expected, in Licensor’s judgement, to provoke complaints; sending email that does not accurately identify the sender, the sender’s return address, and the email address of origin; send unsolicited email without identifying in the email a clear and easy means to be excluded from receiving additional email from the originator of the email; collect the responses from unsolicited email; send email with charity requests, petitions for signatures, or any chain mail related materials; transmitting email by or on behalf of a user of the Licensed Software which uses a mailbox of Licensor for responses, or which promotes content hosted or transmitted using facilities of Licensor, or which states or implies in any way that Licensor was involved in the transmission of such email or content; post a single message, or messages similar in content, to online forums or newsgroups; post messages to an online forum or newsgroup that violate the rules of the forum or newsgroup.

Security

Networks or systems connecting to the Licensed Software must be properly configured to prevent unauthorized use. Examples of improper configuration include:servers that can be exploited to conduct a denial-of-service attack; mail servers that permit the distribution of spam i.e. open mail relay; FTP servers that may be used by others to illegally distribute the Licensed Software

Other

The Licensed Software shall not be used in a manner that: damages the reputation or goodwill of Licensor; violates another third-party acceptable use policy and/or terms of service; disrupts the Licensed Software or any service of Licensor; interferes with another’s use of the Licensed Software.
