Paderborn is where our founder and the first members of the team started formulating the first ideas of bringing back to life long-lost arcade machines with additional capabilities made possible with latest technological developments.Located in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Paderborn city gets its name from the Pader river formed from over 200 springs and which gives life to the rural setting still prevelant in the city.
Today, Paderborn hosts our first office and game location centre which in turn hosts a cross-functional team within the operations, product development and sales departments.
Sliema is one of the most vibrant coastal towns on the sunny island of Malta, located at the centre of the Mediterranean and the smallest country in the european union. With the English language being the most commonly spoken together with the native Maltese language, many foreigners have settled-in easily in a country which packs so much in the little space it affords.
Our office in Sliema hosts Betterlore team members from the operations, product development and finance teams, and is shared with teams from our MERKUR GROUP sister companies in Malta making this one truly international office.
Nestled along the Danube river, our Serbian team is working out of a small office in Belgrade, one of the oldest and most historic cities in Europe. The team of software developers was the first to be setup and was the one building the initial concepts and foundations of our end-to-end gaming platform we have today.
